普通话的后鼻韵母是一类口鼻复合元音，假定以下发音树模录屏傍边相关音节的发音是正确的话，阿拉伯语是有口鼻复合元音的；与英语一样，阿语口元音应用口腔后部发声法发音，发音时口腔肌肉颤抖的重心在硬腭中与舌根之间，区分于英说话，阿语的口元音不区分紧松音。
